About Fractional RF Laser
Using the Pollogen TriFractional RF Laser, this revolutionary technology offers a break-through in acne scar removal, pitted scar reduction, skin rejuvenation, stretch mark removal and wrinkle reduction without the risks of surgery.
Laser resurfacing is more effective than any light based treatment on the market and also less painful with less downtime than ablative treatments such as Fraxel. Fractional Radio Frequency (RF) Laser uses the combination of heat and micro-needles to resurface skin with textural problems such as acne scarring, open pores, fine lines & wrinkles.
Micro-needles create tiny wounds that trigger the natural healing process, regenerating the skin causing cellular renewal and collagen production. The Radio Frequency energy that is delivered into the skin also stimulates collagen production reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

How It Works
Fractional RF Laser treatments works by using micro needles that create tiny wounds that trigger the natural healing process, regenerating the skin and causing cellular renewal and collagen production. Aftercare
This will gradually reduce over the next 24 hours.
Swelling & redness may occur & last up to 72 hours, in some cases, prolonged redness & blistering may be experienced.
- Apply a cold compress or icepacks for 10 minutes per hour to reduce heat in the skin.
- Apply a cooling gel to keep your skin cool, ask about RESULTS ACTIVE RECOVERY.
- Use only mineral based makeup for 48hrs after treatment. Ask about our VELVET CO. mineral makeup.
- Using AHA, BHA or Vitamin A products.
- Waxing the area.
- Swimming pools & spas with chemicals/chlorine.
- Activities that cause excessive perspiration.
It usually heals in 7-10 days & will continue to fade over the next 2-4 weeks.
- Do not pick, scratch or remove scabs, this can lead to infection & permanent scarring
- You can aid healing with medicated, anti-bacterial ointment
- Avoid direct sunlight on the area. Apply SPF 50+ daily, ask about RESULTS PROTECT SPF 50+
LED Advanced Light Therapy immediately after treatment can help to heal & enhance your results
If you experience prolonged redness, swelling, infection or any other issue with the treated skin, contact your clinic. In some cases we may advise you to contact your GP.

The majority of people are suitable for Fractional RF Laser. We do recommend booking in a complimentary consultation to discuss your skin and ensure this treatment is right for you. This treatment cannot be performed on a pregnant woman.
Areas that are best for treatment include the face, spot scars around the body and also stretch marks.
You may experience warmth in the treated area and a stinging sensation during treatment. The radio frequency, when delivered into the skin, can produce tingling.
For the majority of clients, redness and inflammation on the skin settle within hours of the treatment and you will notice it gradually minimises soon after. Your skin should return to normal within 12-24 hours. Our therapists will guide you on how to take care of your skin post-treatment. It’s important that an LED Light Therapy session immediately follows the Fractional RF treatment. LED Light therapy will accelerate healing time and also enhance results.
Commonly referred to pepper scabs, these appear on the skin where the micro-needle has penetrated the skin. They usually heal within 7-10 days but it’s important to not pick, scratch or remove the scabs as they are healing the skin from within.
Your skin may appear slightly scratched and swollen within the first 24hrs; pin prick bruising may also occur but will gradually subside over the 24-48hours. It’s very normal for black dots to appear on the skin, this is a sign the treatment is working towards healing and resurfacing the skin.
