About Fox Eye and Brow Thread Lifts
Fox Eye and Brow Thread Lifts are designed for people looking to change the shape of the eye area. A Fox Eye Thread Lift elongates the outer corners of the eye, while a Brow Thread Lift enhances the arch of the brow line.
Both are minimally invasive, quick alternatives to a surgical brow lift. Dissolvable threads work beneath the surface to pull skin taut, lifting and elongating the brow and eye area toward the desired look.
As collagen production and skin elasticity decrease with age, brows and eyes can appear to sag or droop. The treatment is used to lift and rejuvenate this area for a more awake, refined appearance.
A complimentary consultation with the Cosmetic team is used to assess your features and create a treatment plan around your priorities.
How Eyebrow Lifts Work
Fox Eye and Brow Thread Lifting uses bio-dissolvable polydioxanone (PDO) threads. The threads are 100% dissolvable and are used in surgical procedures worldwide.
A local anaesthetic is applied for comfort. With a non-incision method, threads are gently inserted beneath the skin and anchored into tissue to instantly lift and transform the brow and eye area. As PDO threads dissolve, they stimulate collagen and elastin production to support tighter, firmer skin.
Brow Thread Lifts enhance the arch of the brow line and are described as a solution for sagging eyebrows and eyelid hooding, as well as for people seeking a fresher, more awake look.
Fox Eye Lifts lift and elongate the outer corners of the eye by pulling up the outer brow with threads, creating the desired lifted eye shape.
The source notes that thread lifting was introduced in the 1990s and that advances in treatment and materials have made it an increasingly popular professional option for skin-ageing concerns. It also notes that the treatment can be complemented, after recovery, with dermal filler or anti-wrinkle injections, non-surgical eye lifts or Eye Rejuve Therapy. LED Light Therapy immediately before or after treatment may help minimise swelling and bruising and enhance results.
Your Fox Eye/Brow Thread Lift Journey
- Book a complimentary consultation with a Cosmetic Nurse to discuss features, priorities, treatment details and expectations.
- If proceeding, follow pre-treatment requirements for two to four weeks. Treatment generally takes 45 to 60 minutes.
- Follow aftercare guidance and book a follow-up appointment to assess recovery and results. Recovery can take seven to 14 days.
- As threads dissolve, effects can last for several months; the source recommends treatment every six to 12 months.
The plan is tailored to the individual so they can pursue the lifted or elongated brow look they want.
Benefits of Eyebrow Lifts
- Instantly lifts the brow.
- Boosts collagen and elastin.
- Helps address shape and symmetry.
- May improve wrinkles around the eyes.
- Is quick and less invasive than surgery.
- Has minimal downtime compared with surgery.
How the benefits are achieved
Collagen and elastin support: threads are strategically inserted and anchored within skin layers to gently pull and lift. As they dissolve, they stimulate collagen and elastin production beneath the surface.
Shape and symmetry: Cosmetic Nurses map thread placement where lift is needed or features need to be balanced to pursue the best result.
An immediate brow lift: the Fox Eye Thread Lift elongates the outer corners of the eye and the Brow Thread Lift enhances the brow arch. Anchored threads gently lift and tighten the skin.
Eye wrinkles: lifting and tightening the skin, alongside increased collagen and elastin, may help create a more youthful, refreshed and awake appearance by reducing fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin around the eyes.

- A stinging, pulling or scratchy sensation is normal and generally subsides within two to eight weeks.
- Delayed healing and tenderness can subside in two to eight weeks, or longer.

- Do not book laser, skin or other cosmetic injectable treatments on the face for at least two weeks. Wait two weeks for anti-wrinkle injections, four weeks for dermal fillers, and four to six weeks for dental procedures.
Results can be visible immediately and continue to improve over the next few months. Fox Eye or Brow Thread Lifts can last six to 12 months, depending on lifestyle, metabolism and activity level. After the threads dissolve, collagen stimulation may leave skin firmer and more elastic and less prone to sagging or wrinkles.

The Fox Eye Thread Lift elongates the outer corners of the eye and the Brow Thread Lift enhances the arch of the brow line. Using a non-incision method, threads are inserted beneath the skin and anchored into tissue to instantly lift and tighten the skin.
The Cosmetic team assesses your concerns and determines the best position and number of threads for the desired result. A local anaesthetic is administered or topical numbing cream is applied, then threads are inserted beneath the skin with a cannula or micro-needle.
The procedure generally takes less than an hour, although the time can vary according to the number of threads used.
Results are visible immediately. As the threads dissolve, effects can last for several months; the source recommends treatment every six to 12 months.
There may be numbness for several hours after the procedure, plus mild to moderate redness, swelling and bruising that typically resolve in seven to 14 days. Arnica gel or ointment may be used as needed. Slight tightness or a pulling sensation can occur and usually subsides in the first few weeks.
Some clients experience soreness, redness and swelling afterwards, but most describe thread lifting as mild discomfort. A small amount of local anaesthetic is used for comfort.
Tell the Cosmetic team about treatments received in the previous six months and medications you take. Avoid aspirin, Motrin, Advil, ibuprofen, vitamin E, gingko biloba, fish oil, garlic pills and other anti-inflammatory medication for one to two weeks before treatment if your GP approves, as they can increase bruising risk. Limit alcohol and smoking for at least a week before the procedure.
