There’s nothing worse than waking up refreshed, ready to start the day then realising that new fine lines have settled on your face. There’s no way you can go through the day less than the year without smiling, eating or talking to minimise wrinkles so how do you get rid of fine lines?
First of all – what causes fine lines?
We laugh, we smile, we live and dynamic wrinkles are the result of these. As we age, so does our skin. This can be attributed to internal and external factors such as prolonged sun exposure, loss of collagen and elasticity in the skin, unhealthy eating habits, skin dehydration, smoking and environmental pollutants also have a direct impact in accelerating the premature ageing process. What are the common fine lines? Common fine lines on the face include:
- Crows feet
Appearing as wrinkles at the outer corner of the eye when we squint. As the skin near the eye isn’t supported by thick tissue like the rest of the face, this area is often the first to show signs of ageing.
- Nasolabial folds
Often referred to as smile or laugh lines, nasolabial folds can make the face appear tired. Made of dense bundles of tissue and muscle, nasolabial folds become more prominent as the skin ages and loses its elasticity and its fat content decreases, resulting in sagging skin. Smoking, exposure to environmental pollutants and the sun can also contribute to the prominent appearance of nasolabial folds. They can also develop and extend down to the chin to form marionette lines.
- Marionette lines
Derived from the classic marionette puppets, marionette lines start at the corners of your mouth and run down to your chin, giving you a downturned expression. As the skin ages, collagen and fat content decreases, allowing these lines to become more visible.
Using the Trilipo Radio Frequency (RF) technology, we heat the skin from within, causing collagen fibres to contract and produce immediate skin tightening and improve skin tone and texture. The heat produced encourages new collagen to form and treats
Dynamic Wrinkles that are caused by facial movements
Static Wrinkles lines are visible without facial movements
Using Dermapen technology, Skin Needling is a non-invasive treatment that uses a micro-needles to safely and gently penetrate the skin. This prompts cellular renewal, stimulates collagen production and effectively smoothes and reduces the depth of fine lines, leaving you with a refreshed and youthful appearance.
With prolonged exposure to the sun and the inevitability of ageing, the skin’s natural collagen levels decrease and hence wrinkles and fine lines form.
With the controlled trauma created by Skin Needling, the first layer of the skin is reconditioned where the body’s natural ability to produce collagen is enhanced.
Cosmetic Injectables are the safest non-surgical treatments used as prevention as well to enhance, rejuvenate and assist with maintaining a youthful but natural appearance. Whether you want to reduce the appearance of your smile lines, smooth out wrinkles and fine lines – anti wrinkle treatments create a barrier between the over active muscle and the nerve endings, minimising movement and improving the appearance of lines. Leaving you with a refreshed and youthful appearance.
