About Sun Spots

The skin’s natural defence against the sun’s ultraviolet light is to produce Melanin, a pigment which colours the skin. Sunspots are produced when our melanin-producing melanocytes release excess pigment.
Sun spots most often occur on the face, hands, arms and décolletage. Treatment varies, dependant on skin type and the area to be treated.
