How does Eye Rejuvenation work?

This treatment is performed by our team of experienced Cosmetic Nurses. A small amount of your blood is taken, as if you were having a blood test. How long will Eye Rejuvenation results last?

Results of Eye Rejuvenation therapy are not immediate. Over the course of a few weeks, the concentrated properties injected underneath your eyes will begin to stimulate growth factors. This will help boost natural collagen and elastin production and increase blood supply to the area which will begin to restore and rejuvenate the treated area underneath your eyes. 

To achieve optimal results, we recommend a course of at least 3 treatments, approximately 4 weeks apart. Results vary depending on each individual, but can last up to approximately 18 months. 

Eye Rejuvenation Therapy Aftercare

Most clients will see any post-treatment tenderness, inflammation and bruising settle within 24-48 hours. For the best recovery and results possible, we highly recommend following the aftercare guidelines that your Cosmetic Nurse will go through with you. Some of these aftercare tips include:

1. Avoid skincare containing AHA or Vitamin A products, strongly scented lotions and soaps and exfoliating until redness has resolved around the treatment area. It is also recommended to avoid excessive sweating, swimming or saunas and excessive amounts of alcohol.
2. To maintain the stimulation of growth factors, it’s important to keep the treated areas at a regular body temperature. This includes taking lukewarm showers so the area is not too cold or not too hot.
3. It is also best to sleep on your back in order to avoid rubbing the skin. Sleeping with an extra pillow is a great way to lift the head and help reduce any swelling. 
4. To help minimise any swelling and bruising, Arnica cream can be applied underneath your eyes. 
5. Please avoid touching the treated area! This will minimise the risk of infection while the treatment area is healing.
